Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn: Champion vs Champion Clash Set for WWE Crown Jewel 2026
WWE is going big for Crown Jewel 2026. On Monday's episode of RAW on Netflix, the company confirmed that World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will battle Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a champion vs. champion showdown.
The Men's Crown Jewel Championship will be on the line when the two collide on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Under the format WWE launched in 2024, neither man's existing title is at stake — a separate Crown Jewel title goes to the winner.
Reigns earned his spot after retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight at Money in the Bank. Zayn recaptured the Undisputed WWE Championship for the second time on September 11 in Mexico City.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H hyped the clash on X, calling Reigns and Zayn 'the champions at the top of the industry.'
The women's division gets its own champion vs. champion bout: Women's World Champion Liv Morgan will face WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green for the Women's Crown Jewel Championship.
WWE continues to advertise Riyadh as the host city despite security concerns following recent incidents near King Khalid International Airport. As of Monday's broadcast, no venue change has been announced.
